Some prominent Greek-Americans were named recently on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” List, which singles out up and coming figures in the realms of Manufacturing & Industry, Media, and Hollywood & Entertainment.

The tenth-annual listing profiled 600 young entrepreneurs, scientists and entertainers and activists for their work and the prominence they had achieved in their fields.

In their announcement of the List, Forbes stated “These entrepreneurs are teaching viruses to fight cancer, developing technology to help astronauts breathe on Mars and creating strings of hit songs that fuel our daily playlists.

Changing the course — and face — of business and society

“And that’s just a few. Harnessing our expert community, robust reporting, vigorous vetting and the wisdom of the world’s top investors and entrepreneurs, we evaluated more than 15,000 nominees. The final product: 600 revolutionaries in 20 industries changing the course—and the face—of business and society.”

In the fields of Manufacturing and Industry, Athanasios Karachotzitis, 26, one of the co-founders of Authenticiti, was singled out for his accomplishments. Along with Andrew Yang and Jeong Woo Park, he created the supply chain data platform, which is powered by blockchain, in 2016.

So far, the young tech entrepreneurs have raised $2.1 million in their bid to centralize the siloed enterprise systems of modern supply chains and aggregate data to one source.

One of Authenticiti’s pilot project aggregated order-to-cash data between GE Aviation’s and Lockheed Martin’s siloed systems in order to successfully provide real-time shared visibility into the shipment of gaskets for the aviation giants.

Revenue for Authenticiti was expected to reach $2.6 million in 2020.
