Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, CEO of Earth Friendly Products (ECOS), an eco-friendly cleaning product company with products made in carbon- and water-neutral facilities, was recently named by the prestigious “Entrepreneur” among the 100 most powerful women of 2020.
According to Entrepreneur the list of female leaders includes those that thrived through this unprecedented year.
“Whether they’re working in venture capital, banking, healthcare, or consumer goods, there’s one common thread that unites the trailblazing women on this list: they know that their work can help make our world a better, safer, healthier, and more equal place,” the magazine says.
Vlahakis-Hanks, who succeeded her father as CEO of ECOS following his unexpected death said she was honored to be included in the list.
During the pandemic, she told Entrepreneur, ECOS was tested because of increased demand, unprecedented supply chain disruption, and changing government requirements.
“We implemented new workflow systems, supply chain management solutions, and safety requirements. Emphasizing communication, we are performing at the highest levels,” she added.
