The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their “Summer Lovers – White & Red” wine tasting event, giving viewers a chance to tour the Aegean and Ionian Islands.

The program is scheduled to take place virtually on Tuesday, August 26 at 4:00pm. Those who join will be able to explore Greece’s many diverse regions through an in-depth tour of the islands as well as be introduced to some of the country’s most biggest producers.

Grapes from islands including Cephalonia, Crete and Santorini will be the main focus of the event, with subjects also including vineyard terroir and a bit of history of each location.

Varieties such as Robola, Mavrodaphne, Vidiano, Kotsifali and Assyrtiko will also be featured.

The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce was formed over 70 years ago for the purpose of strengthening the economic and cultural ties connecting the United States and Greece, while also fostering commercial trade relations between the two nations.

Those who are interested in signing up for the event are invited to do so either at the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce Facebook page or here.
