Greek American Interior Designer Paris Kostopoulos at the Hamptons Holiday House 2019

How do you spend your summer days when you are home?  Greek-born Paris Kostopoulos, of Paris K Interior Design + Architecture, says “Outdoors, of course!”

Paris K Design was one of the select design firms at this year’s Holiday House Hamptons, an established showhouse benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Κostopoulos tells us the reasons behind his design choice: “We visited the house in late April and decided that instead of designing one of the interior rooms, we should create outdoor vignettes to celebrate summer fun and the quintessential Hampton’s lifestyle.”

Paris K Design sourced furniture from iconic brands and designers, such as Roche Bobois, Kartell, Philippe Starck, Moooi, Marcel Wanders, Artemide, Foscarini, Fatboy, and AJMadison.

Large outdoor candles and other accessories were provided by Thompson Ferrier and Lladro, and the art was created by Tina Psoinos, David Harber and Ben Ericson.  The firm also designed a custom pergola, built by Atkins Construction Group, to suit the style of the house,

“It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience to make the transformation of this wonderful outdoor space surrounding a pool, to a fun and comfortable space with multiple vignettes for all tasks that any family would require for this lifestyle and we area always open to collaborations that benefit worthy charities.”

Kostopoulos stated on his website: “We thank Hamptons Cottages and Gardens magazine, its editor Kendell Cronstrom, Holiday House Hamptons and founder Iris Dankner for the wonderful opportunity they gave us to contribute to this cause while showcasing the breadth of knowledge and design vocabulary that we at Paris K Design always embrace our clients with.”
