Greek Olympic Champion and weightlifting legend Pyrros Dimas and basketball-legend-to-be Giannis Antetokounmpo met in Milwaukee and posed for a photo together on Friday.
Dimas, who happened to be in Milwaukee, didn’t want to miss a chance to watch the “Greek Freak” when his team the Milwaukee Bucks played a game against the Golden State Warriors.
The two men, who have made Greeks everywhere proud of their athletic achievements, were later photographed together and Dimas posted the picture on Facebook. Naturally, Dimas’ photo received thousands of likes.
“Greece everywhere! With the Greek Freak!” Dimas wrote in the caption.
Dimas moved to the United States in recent years and currently lives in Colorado Springs. He has served as the technical director of USA Weightlifting since June, 2017.
