The National Hellenic Society is an association of Greek American leaders, visionaries, and philanthropists dedicated to celebrate and promote the ideas of Hellenism and the Greek heritage. To this end, NHS has developed engaging programs that offer a rewarding experience to its members, families and communities.

One of the various NHS programs which is a big success is a “birthright program”, as Board Chairman Drake Behrakis describes it, in which  college age students are sent to Greece for two and a half weeks to experience the country by spending all their time with students from Greece
