The ‘Greek Freak’ left his signature on the U.S. capital as he led the Milwaukee Bucks in a 104-95 win over the Washington Wizards, while making a career high by winning 20 rebounds.
Those who were lucky enough to be in the Capital One Arena on Monday had the chance to enjoy another spectacular performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo. He was the top scorer of his team (27 points) and helped Milwaukee raise their record to 23-20. The Greek player also had six assists and two blocks.
Antetokounmpo’s aggressive play in the last five minutes and with Bucks’ defense holding the Wizards scoreless for about four minutes, was crucial in overturning the game as the team managed a final 104-95 score.
