Earth Friendly Products is celebrating 50 years of green science in 2017 and the cleaning products manufacturer celebrated with a marvelous booth at the largest show for environmentally friendly products, Expo West, held at the Anaheim Convention center March 9-12.
The company who pioneered green cleaning products by managing to eliminate all harmful chemicals used in conventional cleaning supplies was founded in 1967 by a Greek immigrant from Crete, Van Vlahakis.
“Our mission has always been to create household cleaners and personal care products that are safer for people, pets and the planet,” said Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, President and CEO of Earth Friendly Products. “Our products are a culmination of 50 years of innovative green science and a lot of love.”
ECOS Award
To mark the 50 year milestone as well as to recognize the politicians who fight for our planet, Earth Friendly Products also established the ECOS Award. The first ever ECOS Award was bestowed to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi in Washington last week by Vlahakis-Hanks herself.
“Businesses need to act more now and recognize those who protect our environment,” said the Greek-American, “Nancy Pelosi is a great example.”
