Marianna Vardinoyannis to Discuss Greek Crisis at HACC Event


The Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce will present a cultural event to highlight aspects of the Greek Crisis at the Greek Archdiocese Cathedral Hall on Monday December 7th at 6pm.

Nancy Papaioannou, President of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, will introduce to the Greek American Community a distinguished Greek individual, UNESCO Ambassador Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis.

Vardinoyannis has seen the impact of the crisis especially in the youth as she is also the founder and president of the “ Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation” , founder of the “ELPIDA(HOPE) Friends Association of Children with cancer”, and has done extensive philanthropy for the children of Greece.

Entitled “The Greek crisis and its impact through the eyes of childen,” the event will examine many unknown aspects of the Greek crisis.


  1. The problem with Greece is the massive corruption in government, with politicians and the public sector. To eradicate and to eliminate this massive corruption from its roots. While corruption still live and kicking, Greece will never prosper and we Greeks will never have a future at all.
