World renowned magician Criss Angel has a major reason to celebrate. On October 10, he was honored by the National Hellenic Society.

Angel was the first inductee in the National Hellenic Society’s Hall Of Distinction, and he was able to celebrate this event with his mother, Dimitra Sarantakos. This is quite a milestone for Angel, especially since his ethnic background is Greek.

A Long Island, New York, native, Angel continues to perform ten Believe shows a week at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and his latest magical production, The Supernaturalists, which he directed, created and produced, is being performed throughout the country. Comprised of nine mind-blowing magicians, “The Supernaturalists” will be returning to Foxwoods Resort Casino this winter. This past June, “The Supernaturalists” garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.

Last month, Angel’s escape artist Spencer Horsman performed his “Submerged” water escape live in the streets of New Jersey.
