Famous Greek singer Yiannis Parios has announced a tour across the U.S. and Canada.
The tour will kick off with a concert in New York’s Town Hall Theater in Manhattan on May 8. The singer will travel to Atlantic City (May 9) to give a concert at the Tropicana Casino & Resort and on May 15 he will perform at the Crystal Banquet Hall in Toronto. On May 16 Parios will sing at the Rialto Theatre in Montreal.
Later in the month he is scheduled to perform at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, FL (May 22), while he will end his North America tour with a concert at the WILBUR in Boston on May 24.
The lucky few who will have the chance to attend his tour -simply titled “My Life…”- will be reminded of several milestones throughout the Greek legendary singer’s long musical career.
Parios, known across the world for his love songs and ballads has been part of the Greek and international music scene for more than 40 years. The singer will be accompanied by a 15 member orchestra consisting of the best musicians in Greece including two singers.
Yiannis Parios has worked with many leading Greek composers, including Manos Loizos, Yorgos Hadzinasios, Stavros Xarchakos, Stamatis Spanoudakis, Yorgos Katsaros, Marios Tokas, Yannis Spanos, and Mikis Theodorakis. He has written lyrics of his own, and often composed music. A number of his songs have been translated and sung abroad.
