Whether you like the new Finance Minister of Greece or not, Yanis Varoufakis’ public appearances never go unnoticed. Here’s what comedian John Oliver had to say for the man who “looks like Pittbull’s uncle,” but “holds the future of the world’s economy” in his hands.
Watch the segment below from John Oliver’s “Last Week Today” show on HBO.

Hi there Greek-Americans! We’re getting desperate here in the motherland, we need your help! Please help us in any way you can…
The first thing most Greek Americans would advise is to ditch Marxist Syriza.
Oh yeah…as if the previous neo-liberal government was any better…
Samaras was far better (and more honest) than current Marxist buffoons.
Upstarts don’t get their own show on HBO. Just because you don’t like his humor doesn’t mean he isn’t funny.
Well..maybe because he’s making some good points.
Oliver isn’t particularly funny but he’s right about Varoufakis. The guy is a Marxist crackpot for goodness sake. Sketchy to say the least.
Samaras was the change. For the first time a Greek PM made cuts to try and balance our budget rather than cater to incompetent populists constantly shamelessly demanding handouts..
The fools are those that vote for incompetent Marxist fanatics.
