The non-profit initiative GreekEat organizes a Greek Food and Wine Expo on Sunday, September 28, in Boston, aiming to promote Greek products in the US as well as a healthier lifestyle based on the Greek cuisine.
The Expo will include a wide array of Greek products, mezedes and Greek wine tasting as well as information about visiting Greece.
The event is co-organized by GreekEat.com, Harvard School of Public Health’s Initiative for Productivity and Health Management and the Cambridge Medical Care Foundation, with the support of the Consulate General of Greece in Boston. It is also being held in conjunction with the academic conference on Mediterranean Diet and Workplace Health.
The conference will include lectures, panels and activities to increase awareness, appeal and understanding of Mediterranean diet as a vehicle for improved workplace and school health.
The Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) is one of the event’s sponsors. The GreekEat Expo will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral Center, 162 Goddard Avenue, Brookline MA.
