It is a special moment for every artist to shine on the central stage of Carnegie Hall of New York.

Eleftheria Arvanitaki, with her melodious voice, will be the fourth Greek performer, after Sophia Vembo, Maria Callas and Nana Mouskouri, to appear at the renowned theatre of New York.

On Saturday, February 1, the famous singer will appear in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with a capacity of 2,800 spectators.

The official Carnegie Hall site writes:

“One of today’s most talented Greek singers, Eleftheria Arvanitaki has a unique gift for both rebetiko (a genre of folk music popular with refugees from Asia Minor in the early 20th century) and contemporary Greek music. With the distinct ability to bring together disparate music styles, her voice has a clarity and emotional depth that registers with anyone who hears it.”
