Greek-American Donates Computers to Greek School

Greek-American Donates Computers to Greek SchoolA Greek-American living in the United States donated 101 Personal Computers to the Elementary School of Asproxoma, Kalamata, in the Greek Prefecture of Messinia, in the southern part of Greece.

Apostolos Tampakis from the Greek diaspora, contributed to the needs of the Elementary School so as to give the children of his hometown the possibility to learn and understand one of modern society’s most valuable tools and to be able to compete with children going to more equipped schools in other areas of Greece.

Tampakis’ action was very welcomed by Kalamata’s Deputy Mayor of Finance, Pavlos Bouzianis, who after receiving the precious gift and handing it over to the principal of the Elementary School, came in contact with the Greek-American and thanked him on behalf of the Mayor of Kalamata, Panagiotis Nikas and the principal.
