The head of the Greek delegation was the Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT), Panos Livadas. He was expected to showcase reasons why Greece should continue to be a lure to tourists and promote a planned unified advertising campaign that won’t kick off until 2014.
The Piraeus Port Organization (OLP) as well as other cruise ports around Greece, the port of Thessaloniki, Patras, Corfu and Heraklion, to name a few, will share the same pavilion put together by Greece’s EOT.
Other industry sectors represented in Miami’s international trade show include among others destinations, ship equipment, information and entertainment technology, ship services and hotel operations and food and beverage. Major country pavilions include Italy, Spain, Germany and France.
