Argentine Firm Likes Greek Airports

corporacion americaArgentina’s Corparacion America (CASA,) which operates airport functions worldwide, is reportedly eying investments in the airports of Thessaloniki, Rodos and Heraklion. According to Voria, Corporacion America is targeting new points in Greece, in collaboration with a local partner to share the investment risks and the management work.

CASA is active in the businesses of cargo, fueling terminals, agribusiness, energy, retail and infrastructure sectors. As an airport concessionaire, CASA controls Montevideo Carrasco International Airport through the consortium Puerta del Sol and owns the majority of Aeropuertos Argentinas 2000 (AA2000), which operates 33 airport terminals in Argentina, and terminals in Ecuador, Peru, Armenia and Italy.

CASA also acquired the concession rights for Punta del Este Airport until 2019. Its other subsidiaries include biofuel company Unitec Bio, which has a 20% share in the local biofuel market, and construction firm Helport. CASA is headquartered in Buenos Aires.
