Protopsalti, Perris, Frangoulis Sing for the Kids

Greek tenor and international recording artist Mario Frangoulis teamed up with his long time friend and mega stage talent Alkistis Protopsalti and up-and-coming Greek-French singer George Perris for a one-time charity event – a new initiative of ALMA Bank – to raise funds for children in need in Greece.

More than 2,000 people attended their concert at New York Presbyterian Concert Hall in Long Island City, Queens, New York.

ALMA Bank, a full-service commercial bank with strong Greek roots, was established by Greek-Americans and is close to the community, supporting the promotion and protection of the Greek language and culture.

The bank is embarking on this new philanthropic initiative to be close to people ― especially children in need ― in Greece, during these difficult economic times. All proceeds from the concert event will go to two causes for children in Greece: Floga and To Hamogelo Tou Paidiou (Smile of the Child) organizations chosen by the artists that have an established record of helping families
