Greek Feta Arvaniti Wins Gold Award at the World Championship Cheese Contest 2012

Feta Arvaniti received the Gold Award at the 2012 World Championship Cheese Contest that takes place every two years in Wisconsin, USA.

Once again Arvanitis Dairy was recognized for its high level of quality and honored the Greek cheese-making tradition. The company was honored with the prestigious Gold award for Feta Arvaniti which ranked first worldwide.

This is the first time that a Greek dairy business has received an award in this significant international competition.

“This achievement makes us all in Arvanitis Dairy very proud, as it is a sign of appreciation for our continuous endeavor to preserve and promote abroad the Greek taste and the rich cheese-making history of our land,” says the press release of the winning firm.

In the same contest, our Dopio Cheese ranked second worldwide and received the Silver award for Feta Cheese.
