Greek Participation In Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention 2012

Within the framework of this year’s Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention 2012, that was held from the 12th until the 15th of March, Thanos Pallis, General Secretary of ports and port policy of the Hellenic Republic, presented the Greek governmental policy concerning the cruise sector.

The General Secretary emphasized that the reservation system is being promoted based on international policies.

On their part, foreign shipping companies and shipping agents expressed their willingness to organize more cruise trips, while Greece’s participation was very successful due to the organization and promotion of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

Greek ports were represented at the Greek pavilion during the convention, such as Piraeus port, Patras port, Corfu port, Chania and Cavala ports, etc.
