On his part, the President of the Pan-Cretan Association of America , Giannis Manos, stated: “We would like once again to provide support to Cretans of Greece as we did in the past during similarly difficult times in Greece. Many Cretans of Greece that are in need are making calls to the Archbishop of Crete in order to ask for financial aid. I am sure that Cretans in America will contribute to the humanitarian work of the Archbishop of Crete, Irinaios”.

The major purpose of the Pan-Cretan Association of America is to collect money and send it to Greece twice, by the end of February and then in April. The money will be given to all Cretans in need throughout the island of Crete.
