The two-day event includes: A photo and paintings exhibition on tango entitled “Dancing with the Gods”, created by photographer Alexander Troupis and artist Erri Manousou, tango seminars with tango teachers Luis Alberto and Elena Mestre (founders of the Academia del Tango in Athens), and two Dancing Nights (Milongas) with Greek, Argentine and American artists, musicians and dancers participating and DJ S. as a special music guest.

On January 28 there will be a presentation of the festival and dance show by the winners in tango escenario TANGO ACROPOLIS 2011, Dionysis Theodoropoulos and his partner Chloe Theodoropoulos.

The Tango Festival of Buenos Aires and the Dance World Cup are the Olympic Games of tango, and take place every year in August. Last year participation reached 400,000 people. Tango Acropolis will take place from June 21 to 24, and is one of the five preliminary contests around the world before the start of the Buenos Aires Dance World Cup.
