Greek-American Art Exhibition Opens in Tarpon Springs

A joint contemporary art exhibition will be hosted at the Tarpon Springs Heritage Museum, on December 8-11, noon to 7 p.m., 100 Beekman Lane, Tarpon Springs.

The exhibiting will be presented by Artion Galleries and Greek artists Angelos, Nikolaidou, and Paschalis, Greek-American John Amoryanos, and American Courtney J. Garrett will display their artworks.

All artists use figurative elements through employing multiple media, inviting the audience to enter a different pictorial world.

The exhibition aims at exploring the creativity hidden within the boundaries of realistic subject matter.

The show is hosted by the Consul General of Greece at Tampa Antonis Sgouropoulos.

A reception is set for Thursday, December 8, at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
