Nick Katsoris’ latest children’s book entitled Loukoumi’s Celebrity Cookbook came out on November 21, 2011. Mr. Katsoris’ newest book benefits the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as Chefs for Humanity, which is Cat Cora’s charity.
In the Storybook Introduction: Loukoumi’s Secret Ingredient, we are introduced to a brand new character, Aunt Cat Cora, based on the culinary queen. After Loukoumi and her friends, Dean, Marika, and Fistiki returned from playing in the garden, they become hungry, but are happy to be in the presence of Aunt Cat Cora, who is known for making eloquent dishes. All characters assist her in the making of her Grandma’s Italian Creak Cake, and she provides them guidance and assistance on how to stay safe in the kitchen.
Finally, the book offers a contest where children ages 4-12 can submit their favorite family recipes. This content runs from November 1, 2011 until March 1, 2012, where the winner will be given the privileged opportunity to cook that special recipe with Iron Chef Cat Cora.
All in all, Loukoumi’s Celebrity Cookbook is exceptional in every way. It is engaging, fun and educational.
