Greek Tenor Mario Frangoulis to Perform with York Symphony

Performing with the York Symphony this Saturday is Mario Frangoulis, a powerful tenor known for charismatic live performances. Frangoulis is Greek and is fluent in Greek, English, French, Italian, and Spanish, and has performed in all five languages. His international success includes two highly acclaimed albums, “Sometimes I Dream” and “Follow Your Heart,” both of which were fixtures on the Billboard classical crossover charts.

Frangoulis is also an International Ambassador for the Horatio Alger Society, an organization dedicated to honoring the achievements of outstanding individuals who succeeded in spite of adversity, and encouraging young people to pursue their dreams through higher education.

The performance will include performances from “Vincero Perdero,” “Notte di Luce (Nights in White Satin),” “Music of the Night” and brand new songs from his new international album.
