Onassis Public Benefit Foundation’s Role Upgraded Despite Recession

The President of the Alexander S. Onassis Public Foundation Mr. Anthony Papadimitriou gave an interview to the Editor and Director of the Ethnikos Kirikas news agency Mr. Antonis E. Diamataris in the Foundation’s headquarters in New York.

Mr. Papadimitriou emphasized that the Onassis Foundation as well as other major public benefit institutions in the USA are continuing their charity work despite the current recession affecting Greece, since they are not relying on state grants but are rather exclusively funded by the profits of the independent and NGO business foundation which operates under the name “Alexander S. Onassis Foundation” located in Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
