ND Vice President Meets with Greek Businessmen in New York

Vice President of Nea Dimocratia political party, Dimitrios Avramopoulos met with Greek businessmen in New York during his last visit in the USA.

The meeting was organized by the Chairman of the Red Apple Corporation John Katsimatidis , according to a relevant press announcement.

The Vice President talked about his meeting during a press conference. Avramopoulos stated that this meeting was held under the initiative of Katsimatidis that invited eminent businessmen of Greek origin to join the meeting.

Avramopoulos stated, “The main purpose of the meeting was to inform businessmen in New York about ND’s planning and programs, entrepreneurship, and investments in Greece and to discuss about the current economic crisis in Greece”.

“The participation of representatives from the business world and the Greek Diaspora is indicative of their interest in supporting Greece, so that Greece can pull through the crisis”, Avramopoulos added.

“Major target is the creation of a friendly investment environment between Greece and businessmen abroad. The ongoing crisis requires the creation of brand new Greece, with Hellenism abroad as a priority”, Avramopoulos underlined.

Vice president of ND will also be attending the Annual Dinner hosted by the Order of St. Andrew Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate where he will meet Archbishop Demetrios of America.
