Cornell University’s Modern Greek Studies Program will stop running next September. According to an official announcement, the College of Arts and Science will suspend several low interest programs, such as the Program of Modern Greek Studies, due to economic setbacks. Based on this decision, the Program will stop by the end of the current school year. Many Greeks and philhellenists expressed their concern and are against this decision.
