Cypriot Sofia Sergi’s "Flux Quarter" Performance at Carnegie Hall

“Flux Quarter” is a American quartet of string instruments performed by musical pieces of Cypriot composer, Sofia Sergi.  The Quartet performed  at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Many Greeks attended the concert, such as Archbishop Dimetrios of America and the Consul of Greece, Evangelos Kyriakopoulos. Sofia Sergi was born in 1972 in Nicosia.  She is a professor at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Her musical pieces combines Byzantine and rock music and have been performed by very famous bands and orchestras in the U.S. and in Europe. Her first work is titled “Akama Sandhills”.
