Greek Owned Freighter Adrift in Rough Alaskan Waters

A powerless, Greek owned freighter carrying canola seeds and fuel is adrift in rough seas near Adak, Alaska, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. The main engine of the cargo ship broke down Friday.
While there have been no reports of injuries among those on board, the Coast Guard said that winds in the area were blowing at 45 mph, with 29-foot seas.  Helicopters and a plane were sent to the scene.
