Greek & Turkish Cypriot Leaders Meet with UNSG Ban Ki-moon

Leaders of the Greek and Turkish communities of Cyprus are going to New York Tuesday to meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. There are scheduled discussions later this week for talks on the ongoing Cyprus reunification problem.
The UN chief has invited Greek Cypriot President Demetris Cristofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu to an open-agenda meeting Thursday.  This is an effort to break a stubborn impasse in their 26-month-old negotiations to reunite the Mediterranean island.
