Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the 192 UN member states will participate in The United Nations Convention concerning the Millenium Development Goals. The U.N. Convention will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of September. Afterwards the 65th UN General Assembly will be carried out in New York.
Greece will be represented by Prime Minister George Papandreou who is expected to meet leaders from many foreign countries and be present at many events, which will be held in the framework of these two international meetings. In addition, many contacts will be meet Deputy Foreign Minister Droutsas.
Cyprus will be represented by its President Demetrios Christofias who will be accompagnied by Foreign MinisterKyprianou.
