Greek-American Michael Gianaris a Senate candidate

GiannarisGreek-American Democrat and New York State Assemblyman Michael Gianaris has announced that he will stand for a seat in the New York Senate. Gianaris was elected to the New York House for the first time in 2000 and is considered one of the upcoming Democratic officials in the Big Apple. He has stated he plans to run for the State Senate once George Onorato retires.
Thirty-nine-year-old Gianaris was born in New York of parents who hail from Kalabryta in Greece. His father, Nicholas Gianaris is a professor of economics at Fordham University in New York. Gianaris is supported by many officials of the Democratic party, as well as by Greek-American business people.

Michael Gianaris is the WORST thing that has happened to the Greek-American community.He has completely ignored all the complaints of his constituents with regards to over-zealous ticket agents,dangerous intersections,vandalism and graffiti as well as out of control state spending. Albany is spending our childrens future!As a former Gianaris supporter I will support whomever opposes Gianaris and I will tell all my family and friends to spread the word that Michael Gianaris is Bad for Queens,Bad for the Senate and all around Bad just Bad.
