The Archbishop of Crete, Irinaios is visiting the omogeneia of NY this week, on the occasion of the major event for the inauguration of the El Greco exhibit at the Onassis Culural Center in NY.
During is stay thus far, the Archbishop attended an event for Cosmos Radio, attended churc services at St. Demtrios in Jamaica, Queens, visited the Monastery of St. Irene Chrysovalantou in Astoria and at a dinner dance held by the Pan Cretan Youth.
The Archbishop is also scheduled to attend numerous other events in his honor throughout New York, New Jersey and Chicago
