The bill was submitted by Republican lawmaker Gus Bilirakis and Democrat Carolyn Maloney after a letter was submitted on a proposal by senator Robert Wexler (Dem-Florida), with the signatures of 41 senators, to the US Secretaries of State and Homeland Security for the promotion of Greece’s entry into the program.
