The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America donated $190,000 to the Churches of Crete and the Dodecanese in order to promote their charity actions aiding the suffering Greek people of these regions. More specifically, $130,000 was sent to the Holy Archdiocese of Crete and to the eight Metropolises of the Orthodox Church in Crete and another $60,000 was sent to the five Metropolises of the Dodecanese and the Holy Monastery of Patmos.
