About Taso Lagos

Taso Lagos was born on the Greek island of Euboea and came to the U.S. with his family at eight. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2004, where he also teaches and runs the Greece study-abroad program. He contributes to The Seattle Times as well as co-runs a blog site, studyingabroadingreece.com. His published articles in various journals involve research on early motion picture history, Greek-America, democracy and the Internet, social media and civic engagement.
