All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo stayed behind after the game against the Nets on Friday to meet hundreds of Greeks waiting patiently to get a glimpse or a handshake from their hero.
Giannis was overwhelmed by the presence of so many Greek fans. He took the mike and sang the Greek national anthem, before he climbed the steps of the arena to meet them.
Earlier the “Greek Freak” put on another impressive performance. His 41 points led the Bucks to a 116-91 victory against the Nets at Bradley Center.
“It was total domination by the Bucks,” Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said. “They outplayed us… Giannis started off with a big first quarter, big first half, and we didn’t find a solution to slow him down.”
The best of The Greek Freak in tonight’s WIN!!
