Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his 23rd birthday in the best way possible, by leading the Milwaukee Bucks to beat the Detroit Pistons 101-100, with a fourth quarter run on Wednesday night, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Greek athlete scored 25 points; grabbed 9 rebounds; gave 4 assists, and had 2 steals and 2 blocks.
A day earlier, Antetokounmpo’s teammates had a special treat for him during training. Sterling Brown and D.J. Wilson started the chorus with the rest of the players joining in to sing “Happy Birthday” to Giannis.
The festive atmosphere did not last long, as they all went into training rhythms, ahead of the game with the Pistons.
