Milwaukee Bucks Thrash Sacramento Kings 112-87 in “Greek Civil War” of Antetokounmpo vs Koufos

When the Milwaukee Bucks “killed” the Sacramento Kings 112-87 on Tuesday night it was like a Greek Civil War fought in the NBA, as Giannis Antetokounmpo faced his compatriot Kosta Koufos.

It was an easy night for the Milwaukee team, taking an early lead and following through the end. It was even easier for Antetokounmpo who sat on the bench for the whole fourth period.

Nevertheless, in his 26 minutes on the court, the unstoppable Greek Wonder scored 32 points, stole five balls, gave five assists and won five rebounds. One can say he was the winner of the “civil war” as Koufos played only 14 minutes managing two points, seven rebounds and one assist.

The other Greek of the Sacramento Kings, Georgios Papagiannis, is currently on assignment with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League.
