Alaska Greek Festival: A Big Hit (video)

Alaska’s Greek Festival was a big hit this year, hosted by the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Anchorage, in support of maintaining and sustaining its presence, according to youralaskalink.com.

Every year, the Greeks of Alaska celebrate their heritage and culture through music, dancing and, of course, world-famous Greek food, from moussaka to baklava and from pastitsio to souvlaki.
This weekend it was the 23rd annual Alaska Greek Festival and it was no exception. It was fun for all the family. Live music, drinks, a market and more. There was also a raffle for an SUV.
