ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with a Greek Twist!

We asked our friends from Go Greek Yogurt in Beverly Hills, CA, to make a more flavorful ice bucket challenge video with Greek yogurt… and some toppings!

Go Greek Yogurt CEO Jonathan Williams Margaritakis took the challenge in his own way and he called out all his colleagues from the American yogurt companies to do the same. Specifically he named Chobani CEO Hamid Ulukaya and the CEO of Fage Yogurt.

The ALS ice bucket challenge is a campaign to generate funds for ALS patients. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death.
