The Leadership Council and Co-founders of Concordia, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public-private partnerships, announced that the third annual Concordia Summit will be held on September 26th at the New York Stock Exchange and September 27th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.

This year The Concordia Summit will convene the world’s most prominent business, government and non-profit leaders to discuss the instrumental role of public-private partnerships in tackling the global crisis of youth unemployment. At this year’s Summit Concordia will unveil the results of the 2013 Index, a composite rating tool covering 17 emerging and growing markets, with insightful case studies into key regions. Attending this year’s Summit are the newest members of the Concordia Leadership Council: former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar, Dr. Jacob A. Frenkel, Chairman, JP Morgan International, and Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer.

Concordia was founded by Nicholas M. Logothetis who now serves as Chairman of the organization, and one of his best friends from high school, Matthew Swift. The mission of the NPO is to help foster relationships between government officials from around the world with NGOs and private entities.

“The idea came to us when me and my best friend Matthew Swift attended the Wall Street Journal CEO Council. We wanted to create something that would promote the ability of the private sector to work with the public sector rather than working against each other, or just working on separate tracks,” said Logothetis who attended the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.

“The Concordia Summit is unlike any other event of its kind,” added Logothetis.

“We believe in the transformative power of public-private partnerships and believe they can be used to create meaningful employment for youth in high-growth sectors.”

“Concordia is an organization that has experienced immense growth and we are excited as we publish our first piece of research,” said Concordia Co-founder and Chairman Matthew A. Swift. “We look forward this year to presenting the Concordia Index and a series of case studies exploring youth opportunity in Egypt, Colombia and Vietnam.”

Attendees of this year’s Summit will hear insights from experts from around the world and participate in closed door, peer-to-peer discussions on how to leverage the strength of public-private partnerships to empower our next generation of global citizens. The Summit will include the following sessions:

— Creating Jobs for our 21st Century Workforce

— Solutions for Stability: Beyond the Traditional Security Model

— Forging the Path Toward an Inclusive Financial Sector

— Innovations in Education: New Developments in the Classroom

— Youth Entrepreneurship: Supporting Tomorrow’s Business Leaders

— The 2013 State of P3s: Assessing the Partnership Environment

— Advancing Opportunities for Girls: A High Return on Investment
