Greek Investment Forum for Second Consecutive Year

amcham site 300x250The second Greek Investment Forum will be held at New York on June 5 and 6, and will aim to attract foreign investments. The Forum, which is organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the Athens Exchange, includes a conference and scheduled closed meetings of representatives of Greek listed companies with American investors and representatives of investment groups.

As the president of the American Hellenic chamber of commerce Giannos Grammatidis mentioned addressing the spokesmen: “Consistent with our last year’s appointment in New York we organize the second Investment Forum, which is becoming in this way an institution of great importance for the promotion of Greek-American relations.”

The Chairman of the Athens Exchange Socrates Lazaridis, presenting the statistical data of 2012 and this year’s Forum, as well as data on the progress in the market, he said: “It is very positive to see that the number of listed companies participating in this 2nd Forum as well as the number of sponsors and brokers that support us is expanding, which shows that the importance of enhancing our market’s extroversion is recognized.”
