Seems the Greek frozen yogurt business is doing rather well for ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s.
After recently introducing a Liz Lemon flavor in honor of Tina Fey’s character on “30 Rock,” the company just released two additional flavors – Pineapple Passionfruit and Vanilla Honey Caramel.
The tag line for the new flavors encourages people to get their “Greek on”:
Loaded with all the flavor boldness you’d expect, this creative concoction will release your inner Greek. It’s our most epic frozen yogurt yet! So get your Greek on and give it a try. We think it’ll rock your acropolis.
Greek yogurt has been proven to be more beneficial than regular yogurt, and many manufacturers began creating their own Greek line of creamy goodness. The frozen craze soon followed, with Ben & Jerry’s initially putting four flavors in supermarket freezers – Banana Peanut Butter, Blueberry Vanilla Graham, Raspberry Fudge Chunk and Strawberry Shortcake.
