Athens Dialogues at Harvard Deal Science

The Onassis Foundation organized a workshop entitled: Science, Technology and Ethics-Old Theories and new Challenges which was held at Harvard University under the auspices of Harvard Dialogue, a program aimed at “researching an intellectual view, inspired by the ancient greek theory which says that the art is a kind of knowledge embracing art, handiwork and science.”

Prominent professors and specialists from various university fields attended the ceremony. The workshop opened with Harvard anthropology professor Michael Herzfeld who talked about modern technology through the anthropological view. Kostantinos Daskalakis , University Professor at MIT and an award-winning scientists, as well as Sina Keli, Albert Borgman and many others spoke.

Georgios Babiniotis, a member of Onassis Foundation Council expressed his appreciation for the workshop, highlighting Athens Dialogues great role and the Onassis Foundation’s backing.
