The Greeks of Norwalk, Connecticut invite us to the 2012 Norwalk Greek Festival held by the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Once a year … everyone can be Greek, claims Norwalk’s Greek community and this year, you can be Greek for four days! The festival is being held from August 23-26.
Attendants of this year’s festival will enjoy homemade Greek cuisine, authentic Greek pastries and traditional Greek dancing groups accompanied by live Greek music. An outdoor cafe and a marketplace are worth a visit, while many games and rides will entertain the festival’s younger friends.
