Yianna Terzis a.k.a. Yianna, a pop music singer and songwriter of Greek descent, released her new song on July 16th in the USA.
According to the young singer, launching a career in the USA was her childhood dream. She moved to New York only four years ago while she made her debut with her first English single, “Love is Your Name,” a few days ago.
Her father, Paschalis Terzis, is one of Greece’s most beloved folk singers and as a result, Yianna is used to fame. However, she has always been determined to create her own songs and become famous in her own right, not as Paschalis’ daughter.
Her first album in the Greek language was ‘Gyrna to Kleidi’ (in English, “Turn the Key”) in 2006. Yianna’s first single, “Pou kai Pou” (in English, “Now and Then”), remained on the Greek charts in first place for many months and became one of her fellow countrymen’s favorite ringtones.
Yianna Terzi, since arriving in the USA, has recorded with many successful artists including Nate Walka, Bei Maejor, The Jugganauts and Fuego.
Yianna is planning her next performance in next months at famous New York nightclub The Griffin.
