The summer events at Athens Square Park (30 Street & 30 Avenue) commenced on Tuesday, July 10 at 7:30 pm and will continue every Tuesday during the summer. The Greek Community is invited to participate and can enjoy delightful, entertaining nights. In case of rain, the events will be postponed for next week.
All Greek Associations and Organizations are invited to participate with their own events and with their presence. Last Tuesday, Yiannis Papastefanou and his band performed for the Greek diaspora, and the well-known Olympia Spanou recited some of her poems.
Sponsored by John Fiotodimitrakis and George Kitsios, the Organization of Athens Square planned the summer events in collaboration with the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater NY.
