Greeks of Tri-State Area Raise Money to Help a Child’s Battle Against Cancer

Greek communities abroad are always willing to contribute in every way when it comes to things concerning Greece as well as helping people in need. And when a child faces difficulties, then their strength becomes even larger and they try harder.

Leonida Theodoridis is a boy fighting against cancer. The World Hellenic Society, always present in such problems, has organized an event to help the young Theodoridis’ family raise money to cover medical expenses.

People in charge of the Hellenic Society are calling on Greek communities of the tri-state area (New York, Connecticut and New Jersey) to unite and support this momentous night.

On Saturday July 14th, they will throw a charity fundraiser to help save a young child battling cancer. The fundraiser is hosted by Niko Pearl and George Moukas.  DJ Ballas Beatz will ‘accompany’ the event with his music selections, too.
